Power Happens Express 1.0 is a 12-week intermediate/advanced program designed for women who want to build maximum strength and power, increase muscle mass, and improve cardiovascular fitness throughout the duration of the plan.
This program progresses through four 3-week phases that incorporate advanced overload methods including Max Strength, Wave Loading, the 5x5 Method with 1ΒΌ reps, and Low-Rep Strength Training designed to drive strength, power, and muscular development. Two upper and two lower body strength sessions are paired with cardio work to enhance your cardiovascular fitness.
While this plan is designed for those comfortable in the weight room, it can also be completed at home with limited equipment. It is recommended that you are injury-free, experienced with heavy lifting, and have physician approval for high-intensity strength training before beginning.
As with any exercise program, you should have clearance from your medical provider to perform the workouts. This is especially important if you have low bone density or any medical condition that may limit the safety of performing these exercises.
