Start Strong 1.0 Novice00Start Strong is designed specifically for women who are brand new to strength training or returning after a break. This program offers a safe and structured way to learn how to lift with step-by-step guidance and audio cues provided through an easy-to-use app as well as a follow along full length video of each workout if you prefer this style of learning. You’ll know exactly what to do and how to perform each exercise with proper form. You can complete the program in the comfort of your own home with minimal equipment: a swiss ball, a selection of dumbbells, and both short and long resistance bands (optional equipment: flat bench, suspension trainer, foam roller).
As with any exercise program, you should have clearance from your medical provider to perform the workouts, this is very important if you have low bone density or other medical condition that would limit the safety of doing these workouts.
